The Star Boating Club building has gained official status as a category one historic building.

 

There was a ceremony to acknowledge the building's registration at the Boatshed last night.

 

There were speeches from Club President, Jon Neilson; Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Hon. Chris Finlayson; Historic Places Trust Central GM, Ann Neill and an insightful speech from life member Bill Hillock.
